trsqwpj1 9/19/12 . chapter 1 You definitely got Gohan's character. It's hard to tell exactly what goes on inside Goku's head though. |
ckrets 5/15/11 . chapter 1-tear- I loved this. Really really loved this. |
PrincessLazyPants 4/11/11 . chapter 1You know, this story made me tear up (a lot!), mainly because I agree with you that Goku was always away from his wife and kids! That part bugged me a lot too. But Chichi's dying words, and how they might've included Goku too, made me fall in love with this story. Great job! |
Writer Of The Light 2/13/11 . chapter 1That...that was beautiful. I nearly cried at the end. Great description and amazing talent! You're an awesome author! |
Eatfoodzap 9/11/10 . chapter 1That was...actually amazing. The entire thing had my heart thudding, wondering what would happen next. This was an amazingly well-written piece of literature, really. You have a talent. |
JuvJuvychan 2/6/10 . chapter 1You hit the nail on the head with this one. It summed up everything that bothered me about ChiChi/Goku's relationship. I HATED the ending of GT. I mean Goku just up and leaves and doesn't come back for how many years? Really? It always bothered me how the love between Goku and ChiChi seemed more one-sided than anything. I really liked ChiChi for that though. And your story was beautifully written cause honestly, Goku certainly isn't perfect by any means. Loved it. |
Jester's Pet Oriole 4/1/08 . chapter 1That was very good and sad. I too have wondered the same things about Goku as well. I hated how DBZ ended the way it did. Kudos |
Chaotic Serenity 1/18/08 . chapter 1Touching and honest, which all poignant stories are. I rather like the open-ended nature of the conclusion - Goku must draw from his own faith in his wife's love as much as the reader and reflect on it from there. Very nicely done. :D |
Angie Tran 10/11/07 . chapter 1That was good. I like it. Same old Goku always do things that shock people _. Nobody can be perfect in portraying Goku correctly, but you've done well. Some people portrayed Goku and Chichi so wrongly and totally put down Chichi just because they don't like her, which made me so upset. However, that prove that they are not sympathetic enough to understand a character like Chichi. I still love Goku and Chichi, no matter what. Thinking back to the time I had been on this site on a different account name, it's been like 5 years and I'm still crazy about this couple, unbelievable _. I left this site for quite a while ago and for some reasons can't get back to my old account anymore now. Damn guess I have to repost my stories again, since they're still incomplete. You know I feel glad at least there is still someone like you in the world that appreciate Chichi and Goku. A lot of people don't give them enough credits. |
Guest 10/8/07 . chapter 1 What a lovely and sad fic. I completely understand what you mean about Goku abandoning his family. I feel so horrible for chichi and ya know, there isn't a woman out there who can handle the stress of being goku's wife (except for chichi of course). Besides, goku is so strong and occasionally accidentally smacks ppl through walls so it's a good thing that Chichi can survive such accidents huh? |
dbzfan952 10/3/07 . chapter 1 i like it. it always bothered me too that goku would just leave his family like that, and im glad that you put this up. it was a good read. |
Story Weaver1 8/22/07 . chapter 1You do have a point about the whole 'leave to train Uub' thing. The emotion was good, and realistic too. If it weren't in the DB universe. Goku's been dead before, he even has a good number of friends there, so he knows Chichi would be in good hands. Plus he could always Instant Transmission there if he wanted(He did just that at the very end of the Cell games when Cell was going to blow up)But regardless of that, i suppose it would shock Goku to see Chichi get old. |
Calise 8/21/07 . chapter 1aw thats so sad! |
Noryale 8/21/07 . chapter 1And welcome for writing :P G/V is my favorite couple, but I don't mind at all reading other couples' stuff, specially if they're great as this piece is. Nice size, great in-sight... I liked how you portrayed it in general. Hinting us about other characters, still not emphasizing others too much, in order to keep it "Goku"... still, who is Goku without the others? Although he is selfish when it comes to fighting, "abandoning" Chichi in order to train Boo... it was, after all out of selflessness... He always fought to protect something, liking to fight was a bonus. Geez... I'm rambling again, anyway. I enjoyed to read it, a different prespective from what has already been written. I think you couldn't have chose a better ending, it was just... the last 2 paragraphs were just 'perfect'. Looking forward to read your next one, Nor Hmm... with the hint you gave, I wonder who Pan's husband is? j/k lol :P |
Jazzy Uchiha 8/21/07 . chapter 1this was VERY good, i liked it better than the gohan/videl one |
