I can't explain it, but I like reading pieces like this. I think, pieces like this are why JK left Snape laying on the floor of that shack. We each need to find our own closure, or maybe to simply let him live on in our hearts and minds. Wonderfully written, thank you for sharing!

You're doggone right about no "boyfriendly behavior". She didn't want to hook up with a known member of a terrorist organization that killed indiscriminately.

I really enjoyed your version of this "missing" chapter in DH, that so many of us seem to have felt the need to write ;o). The idea how Hermione came about all her sudden special practical knowledge is really good, and you weaved the secret tutorship of Snape perfectly in between the canon strands. I cried reading about Hermiones thougts about Snape's life and death, and am very glad you made her fulfilling his wish.

Wonderful. I like that Snape is in character and that this is Hermione’s point of view, a person who actual thinks logically.
