| highland girl 1592 2008-03-21 ch 1, | abuseYou know there is a lot to be said for being a cat-person.(Which I am)Even though I love, adore, and worship Jackson(don't we all?*sigh*)I would never let him or any other guy treat me like that...keeping me waiting for him and not even showing some common decency in calling ahead so I would know he's still alive and in one piece. So if it was me being Jackson's *girl* I would have a life of my own in the meantime.I don't believe that the young woman in your story is Lisa,I believe that she would think like me and expect a more equal relationship from Jackson.I kept thinking about Rudyard Kipling's story[The Cat Who Walked By Himself]throughout your story, and I was remembering what the Cat said to the First Woman,"I am not a friend and I am not a servant.I am the cat who walks by himself and all places are alike to me."(Your OFC should think like him.)I was also thinking that the young woman already knew Jackson before she went to live with him...meaning that she works for the Company like Jackson(that is,she is not a manager)but she is kept by the Company along with other young women and men to keep the Managers relaxed and happy or at least content so the Managers will be able to do their jobs well. This my opinion. It would be too risky for Jackson to meet someone in a bar or nightclub and telling her what he does for a living and then later on if their relationship should sour she might go to the feds about what she knows about Jackson and his company. So,the OFC is there for Jackson's amusement and relaxation. And it must hurt even more for the OFC because she's in love with Jackson and she doesn't know for sure what he feels for her.And that is why she thinks of herself as a dog.Still I loved your story..it was certainly a different take on Jackson.:) |
| Bunnies Made Me Do It 2008-01-30 ch 1, | abuseoh that was absolutely awesome. Like, UBER awesome. You have no idea. I am saving this to me favorites. You got Jackson down to a Tee. This is exactly how I pictured him to be. Congrats. Keep thos little stories coming, dear. You're a gem. Honestly. Favoriting you! |
| forestwife 2007-11-28 ch 1, | abusewell, this is definately the most different, and interesting way I've ever seen Jackson and Lisa's relationship portrayed. It shouldn't work, but for them, and the way you've written it (brilliantly), it really does! I really liked this, I hope you write more Red Eye fics at some point!! Also... I don't mean to sound like I'm begging for reviews... (I don't - honest!) if at some point you have to time, if you could check out my red eye fic and tell me what you think, I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks. (again - brilliant) |
| saucydeviant 2007-10-01 ch 1, | abuseWow. This is certainly a different take on their relationship. Very mind blowing. On a base level, I'm hoping their relationship would never be like that. On another level, what a crazy and refreshing take! Woosh. |
| Chelsey Nova 2007-08-30 ch 1, | abuseI really enjoyed your story. I agree with Kaikamahine Mai Hawai'i, it's a very unique way to describe their relationship. I'd never have thought to portray them this way. Good work! |
| Kaikamahine Mai Hawai'i 2007-08-24 ch 1, | abuseVERY interesting way to portray the relationship between Jackson and Lisa! I loved it! |
