I thought that this was really cute, and Bowser brought some comedy into it, too. But overall, it was great, especially when Bowser breaks down, that was touching.

A truly remarkable Bowser/Peach fic. I may be no fan of the pairing, but I know a brilliant fic when I read one all the same. Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, the characters are nicely in tune and it's fittingly lengthy. Great work!

Wow. I never thought I would actually find a Mario story that I would like. But this one is incredibly good; I'm very glad that I found it.

Golly gosh. I'm a B/P appreciator, but it's mostly all fed by my own imagination. This is the first time I've read something on the pairing that's truly satisfying and moving instead of utterly ridiculous. Your prose could use a bit of work in some places--maybe some more subtle showing rather than flat out telling--but seriously, you weave a lovely tale, and your dialogue and progression are very natural. I laughed, I teared up a bit, and I got those nice little butterflies in my stomach more than once. Excellent, excellent job.

There are so many things to love about this one shot: Bowser's parental concern, how in-character he still was, Peach's changing views of him, how maternal she was with Junior...but I think what I appreciate the most is that, by the end, while Peach understood Bowser better and could empasize with him, she still did not love him the way he loved her.

BTW, I did catch the "beauty and the beast quote," where Bowser asked Peach to marry him (probably for the umpteenth time).

That was... the best thing I've ever read.

Overall, I love the detail you put into describing the character’s actions and such.

I couldn't help but start feeling a little sorry for Bowser. The bit about him and his brothers regarding the Koopa Pox was direct, but made me hault in my laughter of previous humor, then quickly say ‘aww’.
Then it became full out 'poor Bowser'. Never thought I'd say that! ^_^

Props to effectively showing Bowser’s soft yet powerful parental side. I loved every second of it!

I DIED at the “You could show up a bloody mess” compliment because it put a mental picture in my head I don’t think I’ll ever get out of my mind! Heh heh...
