2009-06-26 . chapter 7Heyy! so I realised I never properly reviewed last time -- it has been slowly eating away at me!lol -- I had to come back and review. Hopefully, it will only take me a few minutes anyway. :)
Anyhoo, let's get on with the review!

"It meant nothing but I still should have told you." -- So Brooke thought nothing of her and Nathan's relationship?? That's a downer, 'specially since I'm a Brathaner here. The light would have gone off if she was lying... The fight between she and Peyton was interresting though, and it really showed the strength of their friendship. I love how you add in little gestures and words between the two throughout the game that show their friendship. I was hoping for more on the Brathan front here though, admittedly.

He stuck up for Brooke, and I forever love him for it!haha Seriously though, isn't he great? And to say that, too. Brilliant thinking, Nate, brilliant..

If Haley was going to be a **, Brooke was going to show her what it was like to play with the big girls." -- I don't like Haley in your fic, which is strange because she's usually one of my fav characters, but I loved this part. As I was reading Hales being a ** to Brooke I was cheering on Brooke to make a comeback, and boy, did she! The quote above is true, and I was waiting for Brooke to bring the claws out. If Brooke didn't care, she could be as bitchy as Rachel. But as it is, she does care, and will only let out a certain amount of bitchiness, I guess. Target Haley!Whoop!

“Boy are you stupid.” Nathan snorted. “How the hell it is that you’re on honor roll is a mystery to me.”-- After Brooke says she was going to break up with Chris for lucas, Nathan says this. I started thinking about BRathan seriously here, because you didn't give *too* many hints before that. And as usual, Nathan is right ;) Sorry, but I'm a fan of Nathan in your story. He seems to have a close enough relationship with Rachel, too. Anyway, he is right, and Lucas is completely stupid in this fic when it comes to Brooke.

“You know if you cut vertically instead of horizontally it’s more effective?" -- I was shocked to hear of Mouths and Peytons attempts, and Mouths character seems very different in this fic. I don't like that you've made him suicidal and completely invisible, but it was necessary to the fic and fit well. He added things, even if he doesn't realise it ;) Anyhoo, I thought that that question was seriously weird for Rachel to ask... It wasn't until the last chapter I realised why she knew things like that. It shows how well you've planned everything though, that you were giving hints to every little detail throughout the fic.

Nathan rolled his eyes, “I’m not scared of you. I’ve kept quiet because you amused me, its starting to get old now.” He yawned.-- haha, go Nathan. I loved that bit because it gave him a sense of .. power? Idk, but I liked it. I've always loved the arrogant Nathan. You're Nathan isn't cold though, he has his moments. which I love, too.

“Kissing her ** isn’t going to increase your chances at getting in her pants again.” -- Go Rachel!! I really don't like Lucas in this fic. Hes a kiss-** prick. Sorry, but he is. Normally, I'm actually a Brucaser first but I really don't like Lucas in this fic. He is a prick, especially when he says he's slept with someone in the room at the start. Nathan admits this reluctantly, but Lucas takes pleasure in making Brooke squirm.

Rachel is truly loyal to Brooke; no matter what the others say. She has hid so many of Brookes secrets and defends the Davis at any chance. The abortion scenario was a cperfect example of Rachel's loyalty to Brooke and I thought it was great.. and a bit sweet, if there had not been a whole abortion thing thrown in ;) haha

“You ruined my life.” Rachel mocked in a whiney voice, “Seriously? Shut up.-- Yayy, Haleys being told off again. Maybe I don't like her b/c I like Rachel and Brooke, I dont know, but yeah, I hate her in this fic. Hate is probably too strong a word, though.. I was thiking the exact same thing when Rachel said this. Though I do have some sympathy for Haley, she wasn't held at gunpoint.

I loved all of Jake and Peyton's interactions, and I'm hoping they'll be together in the end. they showed the most.. promise in the fic. Like they looked the most certain throughout everything.I adore the couple and liked their past here, so I defo want them otgether in the end.
I was a bit confused with Peyton and her Dad -- that bit. It was kind of .. disgusting? But I just hope it isn't the way Rachel made it out to be. I'm guessing it's not.

Nathan's reaction to reading the clean teen card was funny; and his word vomit had me laughing out loud. Rachel's story with Cahse was bitter sweet, and maybe she can still find that somewhere in someone. The best part of it though was him fixing her though, I thought that bit was great. Rachel can love, she just doesn't want to.

“Look at how you act Rachel, I’m sorry but I’m not gonna sugarcoat this for you. You are way too immature to raise a child right now.” -- Nathan and his bluntness. That's the real Nathan , Iguess. And I was glad to see him back again. The blunt, gonna tell you like it is, Nathan. Needed to be said, anyhow.

--What a twist!! I mean, wow! It's not Brooke, Peyton and I doubt it's Rachel. Could it be Haley? NOO. could it be.. Someone else we know? Or is it a complete newcomer?? I'm so interested in this storyline. It puts a new spin on things and really opens up possibilities for the next chapter.

“Admit it, you still have feelings for Brooke.”-- Oh yes!! The part I've been longing for, and it happened!! I was hoping against hope that this would be Brathan, or at least for Nathan to like her. Wow, I hope it ends well. Come on Bratahnn! Looking back, there were a lot of signs that went amiss. I really want Brooke to feel the same way..

As for my poll choices. I definitely pick Nathan for Brooke. Although again, I'm am a Lucas/Brooke fan, Nathan deserves Brooke much more in this fic. Or Brooke deserves Nathan much more. Lucas doesn't deserve to be like Brooke -- he has been a jerk in this fic, look at it any way you want. Here, Nathan and Brooke deserve each other and I truly think you should put them together. If it is going based on poll though, then it will most likely be Brucas because of the amount of Brucas compared to Brathan. Think it over though!Do whatever is best for your story, I guess. :)
Secondly, I would like Jake or Rachel to bring them back together. Jake because he's just a nice person and could do it. He doesn't deserve anything bad and is just a nice guy. I loved when Mouth picked him to be! Rachel because,well, it would be dramatic and.. wasn't she the one who tore them apart? Anyhoo, I'm sure the last chapter will rock no matter what yu choose.

PLEASE update this one soon. It is definitely your best story and I really hope you update soon. You nearly have the chapter finished anyway, right? :)
