This may be a weird review, I apologize. As I read the first paragraph of your story, I was struck by your description of Sarah. Why? Because that was me just a few months ago. I am clinically depressed and almost died from sheer exhaustion caused by this world in which we live. I started focusing on fantasy and ignored reality. I want to thank you for writing this. This might be too personal, and if you don't want to aanswer I can understand, but did you go through something similar. The level of insight into depression's downward spiral would lead me to believe so. If you ever want to talk, me e-mail's listed. It's nice to know that there are others who have shared the same suffering. You are a wonderful writer and I look forward to readinfg more of your stories in the future.

I liked this ending. I do know that depression doesn't just go away, but you didn't WRITE it that way. She's gotten over it but it isn't gone. so... yeah. the ending was very believable and effective. good job.

Lovely chapter today. Its a pity you don't intend to continue it, but if you truly feel that it would become rubbish, then I suppose it is right to stop. You have a very descriptive style of writing.

No, no, no, this is way to early on to stop. There are many problems Sarah still has; trust issues, depression, her affinity for blades against her skin, this can't just erase it takes time. This could have been longer and better. oh by the way... Low self-esteem doesn't just disappear. Frankly I think you could have done better.
