To all of you doling out the criticisms, you should realize that a parent's judgment of whether or not their child is "too old" for CP depends on several factors. Some parents never spank at all, some very rarely use it and some use it consistently regardless of a child's age. It depends upon many factors. I would say that the character of Severus Snape would be one who would be a strong proponent of CP for the duration of the time in which he is the guardian of any underaged child. It's also a bit embarrassing that many of you complaining about the discipline methods used cannot spell or use proper grammar to save your lives. Maybe your parents should take more of an interest in you, hm? Then again, this site is kind of infested with young children who cannot even begin to comprehend anything that even requires the slightest use of their brains, so I don't blame you, really. I thought this was a decent story. I don't think it's going to be the next best published novel, but the author did a good job, and she deserves credit for her efforts.
