I love this story. I really like the relationship you developed between Rogue and Sam. I wish it was more popular, I like Romy but it's getting old and I mean they are perfect for eachother(Rogue and Remy) and I hate it. Their like Jean and Scott in their own world. Besides I think it would work out with Rogue and Sam, Remy and Rogue:( to many complications. But, great plot, and the tension was portrayed very brilliantly.

If Rogue absorbed Ms. Marval's flight and invincibility then how come she didn't survive the explosion?

i finished it all in one LONG sit through, lol, it was a really beautiful and captivating story and it kept me actually guessing until the end but my only camplaint is remy's character!
i guess maybe it was his unexplained and unreasonable abandoning in the beginning but i couldn't make myself like him, so that makes the ending even MORE tragic for me...what a sad way to end the night lol

it wasn't badly written- you've obviously got talent, but i have to say i didn't like the storyline very much. I know it was from x-men in the end (which i also didn't love the storyline there, either) but i had a few complaints:
1. rogue had every right to not tell remy about the kids- he IS the one who left, and the fact that all of a sudden, out of nowhere you discover that actually, he's been writing to rogue and trying to win her back for years is a little unbelievable.
2. technically remy is sinister's clone, not son.
3. becca was a spoiled brat, really. i felt bad because i could understand where she was coming from, but her character was shallow and had no true substance.
4. this storyline came straight from the comics, with little to no change. unfortunately, this is an x-men evolution fanfiction category, where there are a LOT of differences from the comics. such as what happened to bayville? to the original storyline? this probably would have been better posted under comics.
5. there were a lot of loose ends you missed to tie up: such as why would sabretooth , an enemy of the x-men, be fighting on their team?

HONESTLY though, you ARE a good writer. please don't take this harshly, i just had a few criticisms about the storyline, but you did a great job. i know it sounds like i'm a flaming **, but i truly did enjoy reading this.

man i thought it was romy not anti romy it's cruel you know gambit and rogue are a great couple but you describe gambit like a monster and he loves rogue it's very tragic cruel and theres no a happy ever after
but if it wasn't about gambit and rogue the story would be pretty good but come on gambit and rogue love each other and they have their story

wow. really didn't expect you to actually kill off rogue for real but I liked it anyhow :) very dramatic and tragic (see? they rhyme. there's a REASON these two descriptions go so well together (and its got nothing to do with rhyme) lol) anyway, this was the perfect ending for the direction you headed in. :( Though I'm a lil' sad no there was no re-kindled Romy in the end, the sort of 'bond' was still there and that was sweet :) it was enough to make it a good ending too :)

I also loved it that Remy gave Oli his trench coat. :) its suited him well to do so.

this story was a very intense and emotional read with lots of drama and action. Although with the input of so many characters things were sometimes confusing, you managed to pull it all off without the story being lacking. I also really liked the cliffhanger you put on it! It just makes me wonder what will happen next!!1
