I've read all three now. I'm going to try to describe the feelings I'm experiencing now to you. I've got this pressure in my chest just above my sternum that is somehow both simultaneously incredibly powerful as well as soothing. I'm feeling so much respect for your characters right now, I might just burst.

My god. You've done it again. First with Neji and now with Gai. I cracked up laughing at number 18! And I love how you depicted Gai's father. Also, the section where Naruto trusts Gai because his 'gut' feeling is just fantastic. Good to know Kyubi still recognises his own after so long.
I'd love to see you write one on Lee one day. I'm sure that would be impressive.

Ahh, this is funny! I've always thought that Gai was the most ridiculous Naruto character ever, and you made that ridiculous sort of endearing. Love the symbolism. Yup.

Just a few things:

"More than that, he likes himself, and not one person who has ever looked down on him in his life can say the same." Did you mean to say "can say otherwise"?

#5 is a bit redundant - you say "told him/them" a lot. But on the other hand, are you trying to create an effect like "they tell him, they tell him, they tell him,..." and he's just like, "Woah, hold up. I'm telling YOU, and that's final,"?

So yeah, I love your writing. I like "the Jinchuuriki has style" part. That's funny. Do you like the Hyuugas? Do you think you could maybe write something Hyuuga-centric? (Love the Hyuuga Clan.)
