I'm more into Kataang myself, but I liked this story, especially the fight scene. I love the moment when the bad guy realizes who Aang is. :D

Well for a one shot this had it all, comedy, action and romance! Very nicely done and I loved how you showed the Taang relationship. They are equals that support and complement each other. I can see I'll have to put you on my author's alert list. You write well and have a good grasp on what is so appealing about Taang. The interactions between the characters are natural. Good job and I hope I read more from you!

Only Toph would think a fight would constitute a great date. ^_^

omg, i lurve your writing. you are one of my top five favorite fanfic authors ever. just one thing though about Lessons in Disasters though. Toph can tell when and where stuff is earthbent at her. in the Blind Bandit when the Mole or whatever his name is came out of the ground and chucked a rock at her, she turned right around and chucked it back. not criticizing; just saying that the part where Aang has to tell her that stuff is coming at her through the air is not exactly accurate to the facts. sorry. heh heh. (can you tell that i have way to much time on my hand?)

Wonderful fic, it's so good to read a fic for once where people don't turn Toph into a sniveling shivering helpless frail young maiden in distress, some authors really do seem to like doing that, but you kept her perfectly in character.
