This is excellent so far! A few typos here and there, but your style is really, really good. Same with your characterisation - I especially love that you're giving all the characters air-time, and still tying the story closely to the actual finale.
I'm intrigued as to where this is going, and anticipating it wildly. :3

Gerry is a genius! I love how he goes about tying up loose ends while making us wait for another chapter. I never knew he was such a skilled suspense writer. I can't wait for the story to continue...
