James, the most adored by his family, went first. Why does it always happen that way? It seems to me like the unplanned, unwanted pregnancies should end in miscarriage, not the planned, sought-after ones, for example. I can't imagine raising a child and loving him for twenty-one years (well, I guess his parents died prior to that), only to have it all be for nothing, in a sense.

"Padfoot should die in a more impressive way." No kidding. Snuffles went out like a candle; I had to read that sentence three or four times to figure out he was dead. I still haven't caught on to whether he died of the actual curse that hit him or from stumbling into the veil.

I think we all wonder how Peter ended up in Gryffindor. Did the Hat plan it so there wouldn't only be three in that dorm? Or did the others just kind of overshadow him until he turned to the Dark Lord to distinguish himself?

I hated when Remus died, but really, he was just so tired. He'd been fighting all his life, and while raising Teddy might have ended up giving him a new lease on life, I think he just wanted some peace. The stair analogy fits perfectly.

It didn't sit well with me to realise that all the Marauders had died. Really, all the key players from that era are gone. Your tribute to them is very sad, much like DH itself.

Stupendous. I really, really like it, even though it is heartbreaking (Or maybe because it is?). I loved the last lines. Amazing.

And, though I never thought of it before, Sirius and James should have had more exciting deaths. All of the Marauders, actually, went out like flames in a summer breeze. Well, except for Peter, but I don't like him. He deserved to be betrayed by his own arm.

Wow. Are you sure this is your first fic, or just the first Harry Potter fic. This is very good and it shakes you to the very core. I loved it.

I think it was lightly depressing, something that ...or more like...solemn. Yeah, that's it. Solemn.
The Marauder's Map...well...I never read any fic about the Marauders, though now I feel compelled to do so. This was a really nice piece (favourites).

That was amazing! I got all choked up reading it! I think you really captured who these four friends were. I'm so going to keep this on my computer I love it that much! This was a very good tribute to the Marauders. Thanks for it!
