oh crap, i can't believe i didn't read this until now, it didn't show up on my alerts. blink is right... this makes too much sense for either of us to be sane, if you can catch that. this didn't have to be hpdm, did it? i mean, the war, i guess. there are lots of wars. there are never any heroes. hm, i like your harry / tom parallels, even if they're too obvious in the books. sad, but lovely :)
