Good story! Very nicely written. I can see Barbossa being just that way facing death on the gallows. Very well done! :)

That was just great, really. 'Never shall we die.' That is so Barbossa, in my opinion. I loved all of it, but my other part would have to be 'A pirate with a noose around his neck must pay homage to the pirate that had eluded it.' Very true, and very much like something that would pass between Jack and Barbossa.

This was an awesome oneshot - I really can imagine this. Although Barbossa's my favourite character I think his death should be written by you. Or never. ;) Thanks for this wonderful piece of fanfiction!

I liked this. It was a bit poetic. Anyeay, I'm a little sad to hear that you'll be taking a break, but I am selfish. Breaks are good. Help one refresh oneself. Do something fun for me and your now dead character.

But, I must say, you portrayed his death in the exact fashion that I would imagine or expect from good ol' Hector. That must've have been a blow to his pride, having Jack's price on guinea above his own. (I'd pay more... XD)

That line about pirates being the most motivated creatures on Earth when it comes to self-preservation, very accurate and with almost ahint of diplomacy. You can't really call them cowards, cause they're braver than hell. :)
