Wow. You did a great job. People usually don't talk much about Shukaku, and think Kyubi is cooler, more powerful, and so on. You can't imagine how much that annoys me. I always liked how...lively was Shukaku. He is more...just "more", than Kyubi. Maybe I think that because Gaara is from far my favourite character, and Naruto isn't ?

Anyway. I was mesmerized by the way you compared Shukaku to the earth, the way he seems to be deep into it, and even maybe to think like it. It reminds me a little of the "Tales of Earthsea" from Ursula K. Leguin, with the wizard who manages to stop an earthsquake (do you spell it like that ? I'm french...^_^') by becoming the "roots" of the earth...I love that book.

The way he remembers all the humans he has known, the way he tells it, all of that was really poetic, and even a little sad. Really cool.

I just didn't like the end, because I don't like Gaanaru at all (nor Narugaa...) ! ^_^'

Wow. I like this. It seems like a little one sided ShukuGaa near the end but also one sided NaruGaa. Well that's if Naruto isn't in the room with him which he probably is or at least dreaming the same thing. Anyway, I really like this piece.
