I've been digging for good TF gen1 fan fic recently (I've been a fan since age 6 and I'm now 26, if that tells you anything) and found this story on Nightwind's site a few days ago... And I know it's "old", but I've still gotta review to say I love it. At age 8, I struggled with the idea of some of my favorite characters getting killed off and even now, it still annoys me that the whole thing had to happen for sake of, well...selling newer toys. But no matter what, I'll probably always remain a Ratchet, Hound, Jazz, Ironhide and Optimus fan and this kinda fic is such a good read when written well. Every Jazz line sounded like good ol' Scatman Crothers in my head and I thought Hound's advice and observations were sound. So, no matter how old the fic is, thanks for writin' it. ;)

This is lovely. It's sweet but not too slushy, it's got Jazz and therefore is just funny enough - and you get bonus points for mentioning my poor Screamer ;) Me like. And the spiritual side of it was done really well - and I like the mitre.

I agree completely on the stiff part about Ultra Magnus, but I also say he's cool. Great fic. You do a good job with a 'bots emotions and how they might react to things. Keep up the good work. :D

Ahh, wonderful! Jazz is, always has been, always will be my favorite Transformer, and you portrayed him beautifully. Really neat to get a look under the fun-lovin' kool-kat exterior and see the soul and emotions we've always known were there :) I loved your treatment of good ol' Hound, too. I was always rather fond of him, and the introspective side of him was nice to see.

And don't worry about the title - it's really cute ;)

Awww...that's so cool. Jazz usually doesn't get much serious treatment in fanfics, does he? He sure got it here. You've portrayed him wonderfully, and you write his lines so well! Seems like that'd be hard to do with his style of speech. I like his interactions with Rodimus, and Hound's adorable as usual. :) Thanks for sharing, it was a fun read!
