really liked this. Good for Ianto, I felt I could identify with him. It takes a while to find yourself, to find your strength after problems and only time can give you it. Years, in my case. Months for ianto. Nicely written.

what an absolutely fantastic story.

Just when I was looking for a story I could really sink my teeth into and enjoy, along came this. Just what I wanted. Fantastic story. Really enjoyed seing Ianto become confident on his own, and taking charge of things.

That was so good! The perfect length and small storyline, loved it!!

Well, what an unexpected pleasure and treasure this story has been. I feel quite exhausted now. A real coming of age for Ianto.

And I'm glad it had a happy ending.

This is a great story. I'd call it a real page-turner, except I can't think of the correct phrase when reading something on line. 'Button-pusher' doesn't really quite hack it, does it?

Just keeps getting better and better. And chapter two really ends on a very clever cliff hanger "for a plit second Ianto thought everything would be all right in the end." Very subtle.

Suddenly finding your fiction has totally scuppered my plans for an early night!

I really like the way you tread at the very edge of canon. It so works. And your writing just draws the reader in; no choice whatsoever!

I'm a big fan of JackIanto, but have always felt that something needs to mature in their relationship before they could really have one--and that's exactly what you offer here.

Jack can be such an idiot (and Owen's a complete tosser), and you really captured the facade of the staid and unemotional Ianto while he's going through all sorts of transformations inside. I can really see him happy at Torchwood House, wading through archives.

Steve was great, and I was so pleased with Ianto's move down to Torchwood proper--and the fact that Jack was fussing so much and everyone else pretended not to notice. Lovely ^_^
