You're right. It's not subtle. But you capture her voice extremely well. And it's a worthy theme. I've always been bothered by that odd little narrative and psychological cul-de-sac the second Mrs. De Winter ends up in at the end of the movie. I've never read the novel. I rather enjoyed this although it might have been nice if the bird died, lol. Yes *I'm angtsy...

Brief, but brilliant, IMO. This captures the essence of her as she is in the book. (I wish would place the Rebecca category in books, instead. The book came first!)
