The mention of panic on Eart at first made perfectly good sense, too. Laura's dreams, Bill's illness...it all worked well. At the end, I love that she dreamed he was there as the ships settled on the planet. And Bill saying, “Think of everything we’d have missed..." Ah, yes, indeed! Thanks for the story. I really enjoyed it!
