 Ludi 11/8/03 . chapter 1I'm glad to see the beginning of the in-between stages of the Bronx incident and Betts' 'therapy' with Rebecca. I like the way you describe the natural progression of Betts' feelings, although I have to say that the best part of the story was the terror that races through her when she hears a movement at the infirmary door. Very poignant.
One little suggestion I would like to make though. I think her reaction to going to see a therapist would be stronger. I've been in the same situation myself, and resisted with every bone in my body until i realized it was a good thing, because it seemed to be an admission of weakness. But anyhoo, I guess everyone has their own personal reactions
