Interesting. I'm glad that's not what eternity will be like, as it sounds very boring, but I liked the aspect of changing oneself and I love that Severus got to find out what Harry thought of him in the end. :)

Although I always hated the fact that Severus died in canon (along with the rest of my favourite characters),
it is really nice to see someone deciding that after death, he finds himself happy for probably the first time in his life.

Yeah, I think he was SO hard done by in canon, it's not even funny.

A marvellous piece, although I would be so much more happier if Lily Potter wasn't brought into this, but seeing it is the doing of JKR, I can't have much say in it. And it is nonetheless very well done without excessive cheesiness. In my opinion Lily Potter does not deserve a friend like Snape and a husband like James Potter, but anyway, that's just my opinion, have no importance whatsoever. Again, great story.

one little quibble, there is no marker when you shift forward in time to snape having tea with karkaroff, which made me blink and think 'what did i miss'? i think that ffnet has eaten your markers!

That was a rather interesting view of eternity. It was very beautifully written. I had hoped that you would keep going and have snape eventually meet Harry in the afterlife. That would have been interesting.

I really liked the view tho of the afterlife. It was beautiful and sad and intriguing.

Not sure what to think about this one. Perhaps because I care a great deal for Severus.

Why can James hold on to his prejudice against Severus and not have his sky crack? Is not Severus the better of the two for believing he diserves so little while James still seems to believe he rates it all? Shouldn't Albus carry the scar on his chest rather than Severus, since he forced him to do it? Wouldn't that have been a more appropriate method of demonstrating that Severus needed to forgive himself and move on?

But I congratulate you on your imaginative view of the other side. It provokes a great deal of thought and that is the greatest purpose of writing.
