This story is great, I hope you can make a third part so that the story can continue I would really like a happy ending with Tails and Cream. If you don't continue the story then I guess the sad ending is alright.

Great story, but such a sad ending. The story did have it's funny moments though, specifically when Knuckles blurts his dream out to everyone.

Yes, Tails handled it alright. I guess that showed her that he was no "weakling". Of course she wasn't herself, but it was heavy and dramatic, the way she briefly returned to her senses just as it was too late...

Good story, with an unexpected ending. It was just my style.

Nice action scenes. I'm not that good at them myself. I love it when Tails really gets ticked off and starts getting serious. Just like when he faced Shadow in Sonic X (later episodes).

Sounds like Sonic had a rough night! :D I always like the Knuckles and Rouge stuff too. In fact, I think all sorts of Rouge pairings would be interesting because she's one of my favorite characters.

LOL! Sounds like Knuckles was having a good dream. I also liked your humorous interpretation of Shadow... It could happen! I'm not much of a fan of the real Shadow anyway.

I've been meaning to get back to this story for a while, but I've been busy with The Age of X (my best writing ever!), and trying to revise my other MM fic (which isn't very good).

Me: Ooh, nice finale! Cream belittles Tails again, before pounding the fox and wounding him. Sonic snaps and begins beating the hell out of Cream, slamming her to the ground with a Thunder Gauntlet. Tails refuses to allow Sonic to finish her at first, but Sonic manages to grab her and convince Tails that she isn't herself; as I previously mentioned, the only way to end the effects of the mist is death. Cream beats up Tails some more, and Sonic imprisons her with the Thunder Gauntlet; he then commands Tails to kill her, as it's the only way to stop her corrupt rampage!

Blaze: ...You're joking, right?

Me: Unfortunately, no. Tails hesitates at first, but he eventually realizes that Sonic is right, and he slays her with a punch to the head, knocking her into a dark chasm. Tails begins sobbing over what he just did, professing his love for Cream. Right before Cream perishes, she snaps out of the trance and tells Tails that she loves him, too, and Tails falls over and starts crying... That's the end of the story. That's what Metal Sonic's trying to do to Annie right now... yeah, like we're going to let him pull that off!

Cream: *sniff* W-why...

Me: *turns to face the battle* Okay, Metal, if you really think that I'm letting you break Tails's heart all over again, you've got another thing coming! *draws Chaos Bow* Hydro Shot! *Fires an arrow, which turns into a jet of water that pulverizes Metal Sonic's chest*

Metal: Urgh...

Tails: YOU JERK! I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU DO THIS! *pulls out an ion cannon and starts to fry Metal's systems*

Metal: ARGH!

Me: *puts away Chaos Bow, and pulls out Law Hammer* Thunder Smash! *I hit Metal over the head, delivering a crushing blow coupled with a powerful jolt of electricity* Now, for the coup de grace! *Puts War Hammer away, and draws Chaos Sword* Time Stop! *I speed up to a level where time is essentially stopped in comparison to me, and I rush around firing bullets at Metal Sonic, but the bullets merely float in midair; the effect then ends, and all of the bullets strike Metal Sonic at once*

Metal: UGH!

Me: And now... Haste! *I speed up, though not as drastically as with Time Stop, and rapidly slash Metal Sonic apart*

Annie: Okay, I'll finish this! *Charges up a bolt of energy, and fires it directly at Metal Sonic's chest, blowing the robot to pieces* And that ends it! *lets out a sigh* Sonic, Luigifan, Tails... thanks for the help, guys!

Amy: Hey, what about me?!

Cream: *still reading over the fanfic in a state of shock* How... how could he do that?!?

Annie: Oh, you too, Amy and Cream! Cream? Is something wrong? Is it that thrashing I gave you? I'm sorry I did that to you...

Cream: No, it's just... how could that mean author do this? *begins crying*

Me: It's called a moral dilemma... it's an extremely powerful plot device. Honestly, I have to respect the guy for actually killing off one of the characters... I could never do that. The one time I actually considered allowing one of my characters to die, I grew attached to them and backed off... Of course, *looks at Annie*, I have no regrets about that decision.

Cream: *begins to cry even harder*

Amy: I don't think that was the best thing to say, Luigifan...

Me: Well, I [i]knew[/i] that she wasn't going to like it...

Tails: Then why did you let her read it?!?

Me: I figured that she'd have to face it someday... I'm sorry, Cream...

(P. S. The various weapons that I used in these reviews are actually owned by me in my fanfics. They are known as the Chaos Weapons, because they were made for me by the Chaos Emeralds (I desperately needed something to defend myself from a crazed swordsman at the time.) Each Emerald was responsible for making one of these weapons, and imbued the weapon with its power. The Chaos Weapons, with their respective Emeralds, powers, and categorization, are:

Justice Pendant - Red Emerald - Fire - Necklace
Chaos Gloves - Green Emerald - Earth - Gloves
Chaos Ring - White Emerald - Light - Ring (the type you wear on your finger, not a Power Ring...)

So, now you know just what I was using on Metal Sonic... as for the Fingergun, I've had that ever since my very first adventure. It's a nifty piece of technology, but it's still mundane; it isn't classified as a Chaos Weapon. What is the Fingergun, you ask? Just what it sounds like... a gun that attaches to my finger. It's obviously rather small, but still quite powerful.)

Me: Oh, yeah... This was one heck of an epic battle! I loved Tails's initial assault on Metal Sonic, which ended with his being knocked out...

Annie: *starting to cry* Come on, Tails... wake up!

Me: Look out! *Metal tries to dash at Annie and grab her, only to be stopped by... Cream and Cheese!*

Cream: I've had enough of this, you bad robot! Get him, Cheese! *Cheese flies at Metal Sonic and starts to pummel him in the face, quickly backed up by Cream knocking Metal off his feet with a Spindash*

Sonic: There you are! Did you really think that you'd slip past me? Chaos Spear! *A bolt of light erupts from Sonic's hands, hitting Metal square in the back as he gets up and knocking the robot over again; Sonic then runs up to Metal and comes at him with a Bounce Attack, but Metal merely rolls aside*

Me: I also loved Sonic picking up the battle after Tails was knocked out. Sonic smacks Metal with a few weak attacks, before dashing above him and delivering a Thunder Gauntlet straight to the chest, blowing it open. However, Metal manages to dodge Sonic's next attack and counter by grabbing his neck...

Amy: HOW DARE YOU! *Hits Metal Sonic over the back of the head as Metal tries to strangle Sonic, causing Metal to drop him and turn his attention to Amy*

Me: Tails wakes up and slugs Metal Sonic in the head, rescuing Sonic; Sonic then grabs Tails and carries him out of the way of Metal's next flurry of attacks. Metal then calls Cream a failure, and Tails freaks out...

Tails: LET HER GO RIGHT NOW! *Tails is back on his feet, but Metal has managed to seize Annie and is trying to fly off again. However, Tails manages to zap Metal Sonic with an energy ball, overloading Metal's systems and causing him to release the vixen.*

Me: Tails pounds Metal Sonic and knocks him into a wall, grabs him by the legs, and tosses the robot at Sonic, allowing Sonic to finish Metal with another blast from the Metal Gauntlet. Then, after Metal Sonic is destroyed, the room vanishes, and it's replaced with a rocky wasteland... and a demented Cream is standing right in the middle of it.

Me: Ha ha ha! Eat that, metalhead! *Raises hand, showing Chaos Ring* Holy Beam! *A beam comes out of my ring finger and hits Neo Metal Sonic in the back of the head, pinning him to the wall. I then turn my head to face the camera.* I loved the very beginning of the chapter, where Sonic said "And that's the plan!" without actually coming up with a plan...

Sonic: *Runs up to Metal* Yeah, very funny. At least I came up with a [i]real[/i] plan soon afterwards!

Tails: Annie! *Runs up to her side* Are you all right?

Annie: *breathing somewhat heavily* Ugh... Yeah, I'm fine. I worked up a bit of a sweat staying out of that robotic freak's way, and I suffered a few scrapes and bruises, but I'll be fine.

Me: I also loved Knuckles calling Rouge's room...

Knuckles: I'M NOT INTERESTED IN THAT BAT!

Me: ...and Amy dragging Sonic off to sleep in the same room as her, as Sonic cries "I WANT TO LIVE!"...

Amy: ...

Me: Then, the next morning, Amy comes in all cheerful-like, while Sonic appears to be traumatized. XD

Sonic: Yeah, that girl tries to grope me from behind every night... we've got to arrange separate sleeping arrangements- uh oh. *Neo Metal Sonic is no longer pinned to the wall, and my Holy Beam is simply boring into the rock*

Me: Oops! *shuts off Holy Beam* Crud, where could he be?!? *Looks up to see Metal Sonic diving at Annie from above* Look out!

Annie: *Looks up, gasps, tenses her body, and leaps out of the way at the last second, resulting in Metal Sonic slamming his head into the ground and tunneling into it* Hah, that's going to- Ack! *Metal Sonic bursts out of the ground underneath her, smacking Annie in the groin and knocking her into the air*

Me: *winces* That's gotta hurt! *pulls out Justice Shruiken and flings one at Metal Sonic, slicing through his arm just as he's about to grab Annie; instead, Annie gets caught in a one-armed grab, and is easily able to raise a fist, grab Metal Sonic's nose, and twist it*

Neo Metal Sonic: *Yells in pain and drops Annie, then flies over to his severed arm, picks it up, and attaches it to the stump; tiny robotic arms come out from Neo Metal Sonic's arm socket and repair the arm, reattaching it to his body*

Annie: *Gracefully lands on all fours, using each of her limbs to absorb the impact, then rises to her feet, quickly heals herself, and turns to face Metal Sonic*

Tails: *Positions himself between Annie and Neo Metal Sonic* Get the hell away from her!

Sonic: Yeah, aren't you supposed to be trying to kill [i]me[/i]?

Metal Sonic: One step at a time... *fires eye lasers that hit Tails right between the eyes, boring into his skull*

Annie: *Ducks right as the lasers come out of the back of Tails's head, and narrowly avoids being hit herself*

Tails: *falls over backwards* Augh... Sonic... Annie... I'm... sorry... *breathing and heartbeat stop*

Metal Sonic: Direct hit... death of target guaranteed.

Sonic and Annie (in unison): YOU *! *both charge at Neo Metal Sonic, but Sonic obviously gets there first; Metal Sonic tries to fire the eye lasers at him, but is disrupted by a bolt from Annie's Healer's Necklace*

Me: *somewhat oblivious to the fight* I also really like the Thunder Gauntlet that Tails made for Sonic, and Knuckles asking for the mechanic catalog. I also like Knuckles shoving the robot off the battleship; I wouldn't expect Knuckles to use those sort of clever tactics. ...Uh, Knuckles? *turns around* This would be the part where you blo- OH MY GOD!

Knuckles: Yeah, we have no time for your insults, we need to get Annie over here, pronto! *Annie shows up*

Annie: I think Sonic can handle that faker now... *begins healing Tails*

Knuckles: I'll go and help, just to make sure. Yeah, it's nice to see Amy being the mindless one for a change.

Amy: You take that back!

Me: Finally, the epic confrontation... "You'll have to kill me first!" "My pleasure!" Man, this is a great chapter!
