I think this story was falsely advertized. You said that all of the adults were killed by a mysterious plaque (not from the corn), but I see that the corn HAD something to do with it, with Micah saying it was His will. I will probably read the rest of this, but I really am not that interested. It doesn't really catch my attention. Even so, the story looks great, but just little things along the way bring it down, especially His daughter. How...? Ah, but I have to read the rest to find out.
