Aw, what an AWESOME story! I SO love your tales of the (extended) Peredhil family!

Ah, your Glorfindel just knows how to make Elrohir happy: Putting his name before Elladan's and giving them *different* gifts. As a matter of fact, since I first read of Glorfindel putting Elrohir's name first, so that he would not have to be "and Elrohir" all the time, I have solidly printed that information in my brain, so as to never do something like that to my kids or any other twins I might meet.

Ha! No dragon tales for the twins, eh? LOL! Sounds like Celebrían feels that Glorfindel messed up big time the last time he told them impressive tales. Teehee! I agree with Elrohir, though, that having his mom saying so openly is rather embarrassing. Especially on your BEGETTING DAY, when you are most certainly a year older and definitely no longer a little elfling. :)

The idea of using the only soft spot of the dragon for pouches is very brilliant and creative and it perfectly demonstrates your artistic skill as a writer.

I also very much enjoyed how Elrohir valued the day without meetings for his father or household crises for his mother. And of course, Elrohir's moment in which he is just dying to know whether Glorfindel has brought any presents, but knows it's rude to ask, is VERY recognizable. I remember it well enough from my own childhood and now see it in kids all around me. :) I loved seeing it in this tale.
