Whew! I just sat here and read bumble in the jungle AND this story back to back. The second person view is a little wonky to deal with, but the story itself is freaking NUTS! Man of la mancha this story is AU! I like it!

well ive gotta say i really really didnt want to read this little series of books cause the names just sounded kinda retarded to me but i kept seeing them on everyones list of favorites so i was bored and deceded what the hell. i already knew you had some amazing fics but these two cut the cake they are amazing and i honestly want to bang my head on a wall for not reading them sooner so all in all i cant wait to see the next chapter of this and the sequal to the lie ive lived

Excellent characterization of Harry and exactly what I've come to expect of him. Dumbledore strikes, Harry strikes harder and your version of Dumbledore chokes on his "greater good." Harry's willingness to work with Snape is a rather twisted example of his growing maturity.

"It is in Snape’s nature. You’d do well to remember that." Love this quote. I suspect this will come back to bite him in the **.

Sweet! Harry and Snape would make a pair to be reckoned with...even if they do hate each other. I really like how you're developing this mistrustful and not-so-happy alliance with them. Much more believable than the usual 'Snape-decides-he-was-totally-wrong-about-Harry-and-becomes-his-mentor' type relationships. This is much more believable.

When I saw there was an update, I almost jumped up and started dancing. As I was in the middle of the university library, I refrained...barely.

Great to see more of this story! Knowledge is power, particularly in war, and the vanishing cabinets are a Trojan Horse that works both ways. Some cunning is all that's needed to turn the tables on their enemies. Let's hope they pull it off.
