Wow, this is the first, out of probably hundreds, of HP-fanfics that has made me dislike Luna. And I feel like a traitor for that sentiment :) I guess that says something about the potency of your writing that I feel compelled to read it, while still feeling annoyed at the way you've written usually lovable Luna.

Interesting stuff and kind glad see the Luna thing drop off. I just never felt Harry deserved to put up with her spoiled little girl crap, they barely wrote to eachother for a summer and she acts like he owes her something. He's off dying in the jungle without help and it's okay her father gets kidnapped because tey are to dumb to leave the country and write out against Voldemort and the Ministry and she rages against Harry.

Over all it was way much like the usual teen angsty Drama, not something really need to deal with in the middle of a war on all sides like Harry has. While having a some what understanding friend was nice Luna never did THAT much for Harry and I kind felt the story focused way to much on her petty little emotional outburst.

I do hope Harry takes some effort find some permant way kill Fawkes now, that bird is just evil. Which I don't entirely understand why it serves such an evil man Like dumble door but lashes out in blind hate against Harry for his 'demon' taint. If anything it would put Harry a step closer to his master.

So yeah no 'forgive and forget' it's a prime time to cut off arms and legs, dip the bird in acid, pump it full of basilisk venom and have it constantly rebirth until it dies. Harry been way to 'forgiving' in the sequal so far. Everyone kicking Harry around and he can never kick back, now that he can I really hope he does. Burns office to ground, robs it blind, kills Fawks etc.

Tonks for instance needs a real beat down, she took Harry's place, screwing up his life and all that. Part of the order that keeps him down, even the Weasley's never really got any back pay. Nice harry needs to go away and Vengeful spiteful harry needs to come and play.

On another Note there is a pretty funny way twist the Oath against harry to protect the castle. Draco has proven the students are a danger to Hogwarts, sevral past teachers have proven their a danger to hogwarts. Dumbledore has proven he's a danger to hogwarts. So Harry's only really bound to protect the castle, and safest way to do that is to kick everyone out of it, an empty castle is a safe castle.

Great to see an update for this story, you are the only author I know who has been able to pull off a good story in the second person.

Dumbledore out, Baba Yaga in bed, leaves Voldie short and our greater deamon.

Goes on the same rythm as the prequel.

Whew! I just sat here and read bumble in the jungle AND this story back to back. The second person view is a little wonky to deal with, but the story itself is freaking NUTS! Man of la mancha this story is AU! I like it!

well ive gotta say i really really didnt want to read this little series of books cause the names just sounded kinda retarded to me but i kept seeing them on everyones list of favorites so i was bored and deceded what the hell. i already knew you had some amazing fics but these two cut the cake they are amazing and i honestly want to bang my head on a wall for not reading them sooner so all in all i cant wait to see the next chapter of this and the sequal to the lie ive lived

Excellent characterization of Harry and exactly what I've come to expect of him. Dumbledore strikes, Harry strikes harder and your version of Dumbledore chokes on his "greater good." Harry's willingness to work with Snape is a rather twisted example of his growing maturity.

"It is in Snape’s nature. You’d do well to remember that." Love this quote. I suspect this will come back to bite him in the **.
