This is definitely promising, although Noi's presence in a primarily Dark-oriented country/world (?) was a surprise. So what happened to her? Was she with Takenaga and he dumped her or something? The suspense is, not killing me, but making me come up with improbable solutions!

I like how you portayed Sunako over here, also the fact that you noted her not being infinitely uncaring towards her appearance due to the "ugly" incident never happening in this AU. Good job! I also like how you still made her a genius at figuring things out (like how she could've gotten a 100/100 in that math test if she had placed the answers in the right place, all from judt memorizing the notes Takenaga made for her). Will she still have her love for cooking? That'd be a fun thing to explore in this AU!

By the by, this isn't a criticism, just curiosity. Why is Sunako's aunt interested in her getting married? The aunt wanted her to become a lady (albeit Sunako is now a mild, dark version of one), but the aunt never really cared about Sunako's love-life unless it made her more 'ladylike' (hence why she pushed her and Kyohei together). So is the aunt married then? Because in the series the only time she mentioned marriage was in that aunte as a housewife fiasco, and I don't see that woman as a hypocrite (i.e. asking Sunako to marry when se herself doesn't have a husband). This is just curiosity on my part, nothing else. Because for all I know this is a plot point meant to still keep her Sunako apart even if they like each other.

As for a name for the Aunt, I would go with Mitsuko. It means "shining" (mitsu) "child" (ko). And considering how all those sparkles follow her whenever she goes, and she is a flashy beauty, I'd say it fits her. Dunno how much this could help.
