Wow. Just...WOW. This was incredible. I am not quite sure which was more entertaining; the story or the author notes! Those were the best and funniest notes I have ever read! The part about Jack getting an advanced script, your apparent conflicts with Bobby, and so much more had me laughing out loud. The story was original, creative, hilarious, suspenseful, and a whole pile more awesome adjectives. Characterization was spot on. Amazing job!

Alright. To start off with, this story is amazing. I spent all last night and part of this morning reading it. And let me just tell you, I LOVED IT! A-maze-ing. I was really sad when Jack got shot, because I kept thinking of the movie. :( But this is very well written! And I think you totally nailed Bobby's character.
Oh, I could kick myself for not having saved this right when I first read it.
I was just sitting around, the other day, when I remembered this story, and went on a desperate iPod-fueled search for this fic. Of course, searching for something on an iPod is only handy if you know the name of the story. So now I'm on a computer, and I've found this, and I love it.
I can't wait to re-read it. It's been long enough since I've read it that some of the details are a bit fuzzy, but I do know that this is one of my favorite Four Brothers stories.
This has been a really lovely read. It was hilarious, fast-paced, fluffy (don't tell Bobby I said that) and incredibly well written. Also, your author's notes were so funny. I skip over those most of the time, but they were witty and eye-catching. And I really want every doll in the Four Brothers whump collection - especially Jack. Man, if Bobby feels bad for letting him get shot here, imagine the man-pain that assaulted him in the movie. Damn movie; so good, but I resent that it let Jack die. Thanks for an epic fic. :)

LOVED it. you've got the boys pinned perfectly. I'm actually writing my own Four Brothers fanfic at the moment. They're all a little younger than in yours, but my story involves lots of romantic angst for the poor little Fairy and plenty of protective older-brotherly antics from Bobby, as well as some dark secret-revealing and abusive family members (NOT in the Mercer family, of course). Anyways, your book was great - quite possibly the best I've read yet on this website. However, it is now 6:45 and I've gotten NO sleep yet, so I will be a zombie in the morning. Not to mention that my mother will have my hide (and my laptop) if she catches me up this late/early. Happy writing and keep up the epicness!
This is a brilliant story. Great characterization, great plot, awesome writing. :) And your author's notes were the icing on the cake lol
I really hope you'll write more fics for Four Brothers!

So, this is awkward.
I was reading a recently-posted Supernatural fic called "Playing With Fire" that was giving me a weird sense of deja vu. Searched around a bit and, long story short, I realized that so far it's pretty much a re-write of this fic. Actually, it even has the same summary as this fic.
Now, I don't know if the author has permission from you to use this story or what-not, but I figured I should let you know. Just in case.
At any rate, "Best Laid Plans" is a completely fantastic story, interesting, in character, and with great dialogue. Just all around great. And it would really suck if someone was taking advantage of that.
So, yeah. I'm not entirely sure what to say, sorry. Anyways, I hope everything gets cleared up.
