Ok this was my first John story and I have to admit I was holding my breath when John and the boys found her at the bar I mean come on it's hard headed Winchester boys. By the end I was smiling like an idiot. Great story!!

OMG! I really love this story. I could really picture John acting this way and I love how protective Sam and Dean are of Rain, which makes sense. Great job!

Okay so I have been totally avoiding SP fanfics, pretty much since the show started, because of the nature of 99.9% of said fanfics. I am totally not into the incest thing. And I wish there were more Dean/other female or John/other female fics out there. But the few that are are so badly written as to be a joke. Total Mary-Sues, bad grammar, childish and cliched.

SO imagine my surprise when I decided to prowl the SP fics today, and found this little gem. I almost didn't click on it, but I am sure glad I did! I was totally expecting it to be awful and Mary-Sue-ish, but I was so glad to see that it was a brilliant little fic!

It was somber, believable, mature, well-written, realistic, engaging, in character, great rhythmn, good plot, and lots of other little things.

It really was very very very good! And of course, smokin got! Good lord almighty, just imagining JDM's voice saying some of those things was enough to make me squirm in my chair! (cuz good gravy, that man has total Voice!**, doesn't he, I could just listen to him read the phone book, and holy jeebus did you see his ** in that PS Iloveyou movie?...)

Um anyhoo, I really enjoyed it, and realy wished it hadn't ended so soon, which is my only complaint. I guess I am going to have to check out of you have any more fics!!

Oh please write some more John/other female fics, cuz you do them so well!
