This was a really interesting look into the first conversations between Yugi and his other. I know the series doesn't really pinpoint where exactly they became completely aware of each other. I like the idea of balance you introduce between them. Thanks for writing this, it still resonates even now, a long time after it got added to my favorites list!

I've read this several times and have always been fond of it. I really like how warm and reassuring Yami is. At the beginning of their partnership, neither realized just how much they meant to the other and here you can see them just starting to get an idea. Well done, I'll be bookmarking this.

Yugioh. My, it's been so long since I've like... messed with this fandom. Which, makes me want to watch/read the original japanese manga/anime. Cause... yeah, I've been subjected to the kiddie version. Aibou ^_^ I love that word. And the first time I heard it was in a yugioh fanfic.

Anyway, HOW CUTE. So adorable, nice mesh of thoughts-- totally in character. Yami's such a sweetheart, his politeness slays me.

Yūgi's fear in this is completely within the realm of possibility - after all, who *wouldn't* feel inadequate with someone like the Pharaoh in one's brain? - and I really enjoyed the character interaction here. (That Yūgi ran away at first, too, was amusing and understandable, and was actually the reaction *I* had to that moment in the story)
