Such a dark, horrifying story. Absolutely perfect. You've captured Gabriel's dark past and Sylar's murderous future in such a beautiful and true way. Everything about it fits perfectly, just like the pieces of Gabriel's watches.

This was a treat to read, if not somewhat frightening. But a story about Sylar has to be frightening, or it wouldn't really work.

Again, you did an excellent job, and I hope to read more of your wonderful work in the future.

My WORD. This all felt so real as a backstory, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Your insight into Gabriel's character, as a child, is just...well, there's not many fics out there like yours. Stunning.

WOW.

This is one of the most well-written, sophisticated fics I've read in a long time. There isn't a single word that's out of place. And this:

"saints and philosophers went for solitude, to shed the blinders put onto them by the weak human system. Gabriel decided then, that the parts of the watches would not just be his sanctuary. They would become his willing crucifixion."

I am just floored. And furthermore, I'm absolutely AMAZED that only two other people have reviewed this fic.

This was such a fantastic read. Very dark and complex. Thank you for sharing! :)

Wow. That was exquisitely well-written. I wish I could say more, but I'm feeling remarkably inarticulate right now. Even though there are things in here that probably aren't canon (like the bits of soul and the date of his father's death), it all laced together wonderfully. The ending was surprising, and I loved it.
