With sex-linked traits, it's not that a woman can't get the disease or disorder. The trait is carried on the X chromosome (usually) so if a male has an X with that trait, they don't have another, dominant X chromosome to protect them from having the trait. The Y chromosome pretty much just carries the stuff having to do with being male. But if a woman had 2 X chromosomes with the trait, she would have the disease or disorder as well; that's just really rare.

This was very interesting... I love well-written young!Ed/Al stories, and I like how you've handled the culture and language barrier so far. On a side note, I had no idea that Dango were super-fluffy a sweet... Since I've never eaten one before, I just compared the appearance to a hush-puppy, so yay! You taught a culture-nerd something! XD

I'm also really curious how the main story plot is going to move. And I wonder if people like the Hyuugas would be able to "see" the Gate creatures, or if only Ed and Al can because theyve been passed through it. How will Ed and Al finally breach the subject of automail? While I find it a major plus that you've given Al a body and the interesting twist of both having 'payed', It would be odd if they don''t find a limb replacement... not just because of the incredible affect on the fma storyline, depending how much you use (like Mustang or Hughes, for example). I mean automail is super complicated, so I doubt even Ed or Al could just replicate a whole limb apiece, if you know what I mean.

basically -- this story is made of pure awesome. And, lo and behold, you've updated this year! There's hope for another chapter! Please work hard, author and Beta, when you can.

First, I must say that I was clearly disappointed when the 11th chapter ended in this story. I was so involved in this story that I couldn't possibly bear to look away from it. I find that this is one of the most exceptional stories that I could ever hope to find on this site. You made it so that Edward and Alphonse could not understand the language of the ninja world, and that I found was unique. Haven't met a story like that. Also the struggles and achievements the brothers made throughout the story was entertaining and refreshing.

(Just so you know, I thought I found some spelling mistakes, but then again my view on spelling on this site is starting to trail off, so don't worry about it. Thought I'd point it out)

Again, I enjoyed this story greatly, and I hope to read another chapter if you would update soon. Please, please, please update this soon, because it's worth reading (for me). Have a great summer! =D
