Aw so sad and so fun and true. "It was all worth it, just to see it all" makes me want to cry! *sniffle* Very nicely written. *goes to fetch Kleenix and headless bugbear lumbers up and presses 'Submit Review'*

I can't even begin to explain how much I love this fic. So I'll see what thoughts I can fit into this review ;D (By the way, I totally understand the mistake with Tasslehoff never really dying here. I read Summer Flame before the book with this scene. I was pretty surprised myself XD)

Tasslehoff. Well, of course, he's my favourite character in the entire series, with what I feel is one of the most original personalities. For despite the appearance of constantly being happy, he feels for everyone else too, and in the end learns of sorrow and all those dismal feelings that no kender should feel. His demise if often something that I feel is slightly overlooked both book and fanfiction-wise. True, there are many Tasslehoff fans, but as far as I can remember, this is the first one that actually takes a look at his 'death'. No doubt the authors wrote it with as little detail as possible, so as not to give away anything that came later, but I still wish they had wrote more on that scene. And thats exactly what you did.

I love how you went back to the beginning, right where it all started. Not at Solace, but at his home, where you bring in the concept of wanderlust. Because of this, the flashbacks are smooth, bringing in memories of past significant moments of his life before going back to the 'present'. I especially love that scene with Flint, although I don't remember the one with Kitiara.

'It was all worth it, just to see it all.'
I loved this line the best of all (Never mind that it's the last and most important line XD). Kender are known for their insatiable curiosity, their desire for adventure, their endless fascination. There is no last adventure, no last story. But for Tasslehoff, even though he hasn't seen all that he could see, that he should die so soon, and still feel satisfied... Thats just what I love about this. That he didn't die feeling all happy, leaping into the next world with a blind excitement, but with /satisfaction/. Knowing what was going to happen to him, and leaving the world with the satisfaction that it was worth it all. You have my love
