I remember when you first performed this and I was just plain struck with how insightful you could be, especially with how you staged your costuming. In some aspects, I think you're a better showwoman than I am; it comes more naturally to you, I think. I was v. v. disappointed when you had to drop out of the show. I love your descriptions most of all, especially "a lush tree" and "full of thunder". I think you've found your niche in poetry, darling. Your style reminds me of the poetesses of the 1950s, except less suicidal. Maybe if we ever put together our own charity show for the ONE Campaign, you can perform this.
