Aw! X3 Cute! And Alphonse got his body back! It was a good idea for the arrays in the school and the swapping and stuff, but it could have had a bit more drama, make it a bit more enthralling for the reader, ya know?

It's a very good story. It's just that, the carriages don't have coachmen, just the Thestrals and the carriage itself.

I'm glad Hermione's trying to get Ed to cool it. There _is_ such a thing as too much studying, chico! I think it'd be interesting to add a scene or two with Hermione or someone pulling Ed away to relax and play, take a break from the research. Like in the sequence with Nina and Alexander.

I like Ed's explanation for the transmutation circle. "Coded notes," lol... And it figures Ed would beat the Ravenclaws at studying!

"He couldn't just drop his title and get preferential treatment but no one expected him to right all their wrongs. Equivalent exchange." I really like that line.

Since the technical stuff is already known to fans of HP and FMA, perhaps you could summarize a bit when Edward and Dumbledore are explaining magic and alchemy to each other.

This is really well-written, good characterization. I liked the first meeting between Ed and the HP trio, and also Ed's reaction to transfiguration.
