When I saw the title, there was a song that poped in my head. I actually liked this more. (IDK if you know it: By your side, from Tokio Hotel. Sandshrew777 2008-02-17 ch 1,	abuseYou miss with Kelsi early. Something about her voice doesn't jive. It's disjointed and not quite right until she makes the comment about needing her girls. Then I think you find her again for the rest of the story. The girls' scheming is cute and well-placed Of course Taylor can convince Chad better than Gabriella can Ryan. It doesn't help that Ryan's a bit smarter than Chad and Gabriella's not an easy liar. Cute characterization all around. I wanted you to make the boys get into the song a bit more. I wanted more attention paid to their body language, but of course Kelsi's busy. I'm not sure how to resolve that, but that's just what I was hoping to see. As for the song, I think it's certainly pretty and packed with meaning. You've got it written here in a singing format instead of a lyrics format. What I mean is that I can straight sing this song with all of the improvised runs you have written into it already...and I'd rather them be improvised. Every Oh, No, and stretched note ("fee-e-el") can take a hike. Your singers will get it right for ya, trust me. ;) You end smartly and well. Good for you and trusting your instincts. A make-out scene would have underscored your song. Great creativity, and cute ideas. Strong work! Keep writing.
