TheLadyAthena 2008-07-09 ch 1,	abuseIt's well written and sweet enough, but the way I see it Luna is completely OOC. She doesn't act it, but we have enough evidence in the books to believe that she has a great idea of what others think of her. She knows some people call her Loony Lovegood and tease her, she's perfectly capable of fighting when she must, and she knows exactly how people feel, always, and this extends to feelings of disgust/dislike/wanting to hurt.

immortal7 2007-12-04 ch 1,	abusethis was an inspiration. i am dabbling in a reworking of the fifth book for my own pleasure and had thought of using a friendship angle between Cedric and Luna. As i was writing i ecidedto pause for a second and look in to what other authors and done on the area and came across this and Minisinoo's Holding up. both are amazing. the way you bring Luna's personality across is truely awe striking. I hope i can write her as well in my own pieces. the interaction with the twins was great as well. If i ever do post my current drabble i hope you wouldn't mind if i touch on this a little for my character interactions. well once again it was a brillent piece. later

madbrad 2007-09-19 ch 1,	abuseEw, the mooncalf poo was a bit unbelievable, even for Luna - I had to blink when I first read the line about the 'great big silver poos' though!?! - but otherwise I enjoyed the story very much. Luna is such an 'innocent', isn't she? There's a special brand/flavour of reader interest - reader participation - which a good author can generate in these sort of stories with Ms. Lovegood's character, writing Luna so blissfully ignorant of slights against her and the like, while we readers are (a) fully cognisant of the insults, (b) amused at Luna's lack of comprehension, and (c) angry at the others on her behalf. Outside of the humour it was a touching story too, of course. I loved how you depicted father/daughter and also the integration with canon, viz Hermione waiting for her friends, who were flying about in the car above, plus the budding Cedric/Cho romance. Cedric and the others' concern for her plight, her worries about forgetting her mum, was touching too. We can always do with more good Luna! Thank you for the story!
