dragondancer123 2009-11-02 . chapter 5I loved the foreshadowing in this! I was giggling like a girly-girl the entire time! lol
Keep writing!

Preemtive Karma 2009-06-09 . chapter 5I absolutely love this story! Its totally fantastic! |
Miasaki 2009-03-21 . chapter 5 “Last day of lunch hell with Gleason and we’re free, Tuck, my friend.” Danny grinned as the two of them walked towards Gleason’s classroom.
“But that also means the last day with your new girlfriend.” Tucker flashed him a mischievous grin.
Danny made a face. “Ew, please. She is so not my type.”
“Oh, come on, Danny. Can’t you just see it? You, her, a candlelight dinner of Tofurkey with soy cheese—”
Danny slugged his friend in the arm. “Yeah, right. And maybe someday I’ll be able to shoot lasers from my hands and learn how to fly.”
“It could happen.”
“Shut up, Tucker.”
That made me comepletly LOL from here to Michagin!
Sarcasm is so funny when it actually happens.

I also love the ending. It's like, "One door closes,... and another one opens!" yeah, a door of ghostly enemies... hahahha!!You should seriously do a sequel, one of 8th grade! come on! |
Free-Spirit 2009-02-02 . chapter 5 Great job! I can completely imagine this happening between those three. Really like the references to the future ghost powers, too. :D |
Lolchen 2009-01-11 . chapter 1I love this little three-part story! It's really nicely done, involving intolerance and strange befriendings. I like your writing style, btw, and I can really imaging Sam with a half-shaved head - and just think about her parents reaction when she first got home like that! Very good indeed, especially Day Three set my emotions on tide ;) Well done!

Lunnaei 2008-12-22 . chapter 1Day 1 – -chuckles- Boys will be boys, eh? What a way to get into trouble, sure hope that video game was worth it. XD Though...after the friend they’ll end up making I’m sure it will be. And poor guys...scared of the Goth chick. XD;; And poor Sam... -pethuggles the lot of them- Wonderful start. The fact that we know that they all become /really/ close friend makes this the perfect hook.../how/ do the become such tight friends? Well...we’re about to see. =3 -heart-
Day 2 – -snickersnerk- I love it. Danny really is a sweetheart, which is one of the reasons I love him. Yeah...he’s got the “self-preservation” instinct, but he’s instantly forgetting about that to protect his friend, and then putting it aside again in favor of being polite and doing what’s right. And...I love why Sam is in detention. She would so get herself into trouble doing something like that. XD So wonderful. =3 -heart-
Day 3 – -HEART- Another connection for the group to build on! Love it!! Heh, I love how you worked in Sam learning a bit more about Danny too, starting to build up for the friendship about to start. LOL And Tucker’s panic over the Nasty Burger was priceless. XD Poor Sam...-huggles-
Day 4 – Aw...I say again that Danny is such a sweetheart. X3 Yay for another step towards a friendship! He knows her name!! -coughs- =3 I really should be working now, but my brain’s not working, and I’m enjoying this too much to stop now... -goes to finish-
Day 5 – “Yeah, right. And maybe someday I’ll be able to shoot lasers from my hands and learn how to fly.” -DIES LAUGHING- How’s that for foreshadowing, eh? XDD That line just made my day. XD Poor guys, and I include Sam in that too. Sometimes standing for what is right hurts...I love how Danny doesn’t even hesitate to invite Sam by the end. He still barely knows her, but he’s observed that she’s a good person and /all/ apprehension about her or her appearance is completely gone. -heart- That was a really fun look at how they possibly became friends. I think this just became my fanon. XD; (Kind of like Big Brother did too. -HEART-) |
Retrophilic 2008-11-21 . chapter 5This makes me squeal for a number of reason, not the least of which are the numerous references to the future that are made. I never noticed that picture of Sam's half-shaved head until you pointed it out, and seeing it made me unbearably happy, since I shaved the right half of my head when I was in the eight grade.
Anyways, this is the best take on how their friendship began that I've ever seen! It's so cute, but cool at the same time, especially since Danny and Tucker stick up for her even though Gleason didn't believe them. Now -that- is what friendship is all about. |
Juxtaposie 2008-09-17 . chapter 5An appropriate beginning to a grand finish. Just wonderful. Rang completely true. |
 magdilen 2008-03-30 . chapter 5nice job- i liked it.
although, i would still go with them becoming friends in grade school, maybe 4th or 5th grade |
Kitty Seville 2008-03-19 . chapter 5*looks at last sentence* But, little do they know, it IS the start of something really huge. I think that somehow, Danny knew the portal was somrthibg big and that he was going to get ghost powers. Well... according to your story at least. |
goth.one 2008-02-21 . chapter 5Aww! That was really awesome! Thank you! And I love the part where Danny's like "Yeah, and maybe someday I'll be able to shoot lasers from my hands and learn how to fly!" Haha, and the little "momentous occasion" thing at the end was really cute too..:P Thanks!

Writer's-BlockDP 2007-11-28 . chapter 5I loved the "maybe someday I'll be able to shoot lasers out of my hands and learn how to fly" comment from Danny, and the end with "The beginning of something really huge." Nice foreshadowing there, and I loved the way Danny stuck up for Sam. You portrayed everyone in a very believable way and told a cool story that made sense with the series. Kudos! |
Completely Different 2007-11-20 . chapter 5great story (again). I also noticed how Danny and Tucker seemed to know way to little about Sam for them to have been friends from grade 2.
"And maybe someday I’ll be able to shoot lasers from my hands and learn how to fly" *Cough* Irony *Cough* |
Nylah 2007-11-16 . chapter 5I loved that movie... this was great! I always found it a little strange that Sam managed to hide her wealth from Danny and Tucker, this makes so much more sense. And you still threw in that lunch box thing, it all fits!
And I still disagree on the 'seventy people will keep Danny's secret thing'. One of them slips, lets out that Danny's part human, and the hunt is on. They all saw Danny with his family, it won't take them long to figure out who he is... I see all kinds of nasty futures for him :)
Anyway, can't wait to read more from you,

Aramis-chan 2007-10-19 . chapter 5I don't know the source material at all, but I loved reading this anyway (and I didn't really find it hard to follow – your other DF story was more difficult in that aspect, but I understood enough to like it as well)!
Obviously I don't know the characters either, but you make me -want- to know them, all three of them seem so nice and unique and real (Tucker is my favourite!). I loved how their relationship is developing, and I loved the fight in the last chapter, and how the two of them don't defend her at first, but then end up helping her, after the fact (and even though it ends up not doing any good. Aside from making them better friends, that is.).
I think the only thing I didn't like was Dash saying "You trying to say I'm stupid?": that could just be me, but it always irritates me when characters say something of the sort, because it makes it way too easy for the person they're arguing with (mind you, I don't know Dash at all.) |
