Drop a line? Drop a line? I will gladly throw a novel! Well, perhaps not a literal novel. There's far too little room in this box for that.Anyway, this is wonderful! Excellent use of the creepy little nursery rhymes and other stories. This has a lovely ring and a nicely executed squalor about it.

Really...Awesome. Beautifully written. The little old rhymes... Those fit the mood perfectly. And show that BB is a deranged maniac. (But he's a hawt deranged maniac.) This is so going in my C2 for the best DN oneshots! XD

I just feel so smart because I know what they're talking about. Myth of "Echo and Narcissus." My personal favorite of Greek mythology! (Don't mess with Aphrodite, Beyond. You'll get owned...)

There are so many things to like about this fic !

The writing is powerful and intense, as often found in your fics. And much more so when it's about BB. Seriously, despite BB fics being very scarce at the time, most authors -you included- write him excellently, so much so that I found myself rapidly growing to love him. It's my belief that BxL is gonna be my OPT soon, might even replace LightxL since I prefer Light/L to L/Light (I hate bitchy Light, and innocent Light is just boring) but the fandom consists of 50 percent of each, so it limited my reading of this pairing. I do read L/Light sometimes, not much though.

But I digress.

On to your fic. Beautiful writing and BB aside, love CRUCIFIED L. Nice equivelent to the foot massage in regard to Kira. And the image is... breathtaking? Love the reference of Dorian Gray and utterly adore the fic's title. Very fitting indeed.

Please don't let it be your only BxL fic. Write more BB. Really excitedly await your second BxL.

Owe how i love your fics.I read them over and over again, i can't get enough, they are wonderfully.

You have an unique stile(I've made some research... on this site_...) ; mixed with angst,tragedy, pain, hatred and some really disturbed images(that i love so much...the dream from Tainted love ...it's perfect, you described the carnage scene so good and the other one with the heart , it was purely genius.You have a real talent in describing these kind of things.It's like in Clive Barkers stories, the only differences are the characters that i love so much (my favourite kind of stories with my fav characters)( OH and I'm not implying anything here, don't understand me wrong, i wanted to add that you really write like him, beautifully, perfect(in my point of view) V and I'm glad that i found someone to satisfy my wicked desires...wow long brackets ...i must get back to the point)...and still you can wrap them all perfectly in great stories that impress not only through images and situations but also through ideas.

I've read the portrait of Dorian Gray(lovely story) and I'm 100% sure you've made a great choice in using this idea; it's flawless, you combined it very well, using everything under the veil of a dream; this makes it perfect.The subconscious reflects through dreams lots of messages, fears, desires, etc. and so you can't question it's boundaries( i mean in a dream everything is allowed) ...i think you are a great writer because you can use , with success, such a complex domain as the field of dreams...to treat so real the unreal , with so many "colours"...

Being spiritually crushed(when he faces its fear), he discovers the pain which he deliberately rejected until now in the name of aesthetically principles, impassioned by those feelings which disturbs the pure image of beauty.

Oh everything was so vivid and you described the tensed atmosphere so well, it was like the evil side of him took form and through his ilussionary understanding of his existence and purpose , tries to prove the true meaning of his phobia...wow new levels of madness through fear...

I'm just tranced by this.I really like these kind of stories.Hope to see new ones(or continue the other) in the same stile.
