Kirah: Hahahaha. I always laugh at the fact that the boat was Riku's idea, because, honestly, what was he thinking? They have a wooden raft hardly big enough for the three of them, some /uncooked/ fish (in fact, if I'm not quite mistaken, they're still very much alive when you give them to Kairi, unless Sora somehow managed to kill them via suffocation or something), some mushrooms that were growing behind a rock and are probably poisonous, some coconuts, and a single canteen of water between three people.

Ruth: Yeah, not exactly plausible. Anyways, we're tired, it's wicked late and we have school tomorrow (ACK, WHY) so bye bye!

Kirah: ...Er, if we didn't mention it, this was pretty awesome. Anything involving Sora, Riku, and Kairi is pretty awesome.

It's so brilliant. They're insanely cute. I can't even believe how well you capture their younger selves. Riku not wanting to be carried and Sora offering to help was just aw.

And Kairi was so sweet in this. First of all, it's really adorable that Sora thought she might have been a mermaid. And second of all, that scene with her and Riku and "I think that's because you hate me" was so perfect. It sets up their future MB dynamic so well.

Gyah, I love the Music Box fics, and I think it really has a lot to do with the relationship. Sora, Riku and Kairi interact with each other in such a unique way here, I can't get over it (or enough of it). And the details, they add so much to the reading experience, I'm completely enthralled. Like the bits about girls having cooties and Riku's father not being there for his birthday. The length is a nice factor too. I believe my favorite thing to read is a long one-shot, plus it's part of this [arc?] that I've already fallen in love with. I was a very happy chica when I saw this, to say the least. xp
