Too true. That was perhaps 1 of the saddest moments in American History, aside from World War II, or the E'cole Polytechnique Massacer, but you get my drift. Our hearts go out to the victims of that day.

Believe it or not, I've never seen the cartoon, lol. But this fic was excellent, very emotional and believable. Awesome work.

good story...it made me remember about all of those lives lost during 9/11. you have shown me again why america is one of the greatest countries of all time since we know what to do since we were attacked on our own soil. my prayers and wishes are to the family members of those lost on 9/11. good story though.

Nice work, just one problem- it doesn't make sense chronologically. Assuming that ADJL is set in 2006-7, Jake wouldn't have had his powers on 9/11- he'd be too young to have them yet.

In my opinion, it's a fitting tribute to those who died on 9/11. It's even more emotional for me because my father worked in the World Trade Center in the 1980's. Keep it up!

9/11 stories are always so sad but the advice Grandpa gave Jake was very nice advice and I kind of take it to heart so thank you

Awesome. I remember the day it happened. I was only 7 but i could figure out what happens when big explosive object crashes into object with many people inside.

Just for you to know, If you think that the one ploting to destroy the Twin Tower is Osama bin Laden and it is called jihad, you are wrong. Jihad in Arabic means 'to struggle, strive'. A real jihad has no similarities with terrorism because:
1) Jihad doesnt always means war, it also means to struggle to control your lust
2) Jihad doesnt target innocent people (remember, there are muslims too in NYC)
3) One of the goal of Jihad is to purify the name of the Islamic religion
4) If you want to do martial Jihad, do it in the war zone not urban area
