Having followed the recommendation you private messaged me about, I have to say that I normally don't read CanonCharacter/OC romances, but so little is known about De Nam that in this case it was welcome. It also explains why he would write so many letters to a caravaner. Overall I like the plot.

Your rhyme scheme works well and you stick with it (nice slant rhyme on ambition/fruition by the way) though it would have been nice to see some internal rhyme/other techniques. The structure of the poem is nice in that it is more than just the regular centered list of verses. Overall I like the structure.
