Pretty good - interesting fic. I kind of like how the stuff in the Shrieking Shack was written, and I don't think the flashback was bad at all. It was cute how Sirius was obsessed with this girl, and then Lily goes and bursts his bubble. Loved the writing on how Remus felt when Hermione said he was a werewolf, and on Ron's rejection of him.

NOT Lupin's fault about Voldemort. Okay, if he'd just grabbed his meds before he went out, maybe things would have been different, BUT:

He might not have stayed teacher anyway. The curse was still on the DADA position and somebody might have found out besides. Actually, after Gilderoy, it's just a good thing Dumbledore managed to get a COMPETENT DADA professor to teach Harry stuff (and the other kids, too, of course).

And what if he'd stopped to get his potion and hadn't left right away? Maybe he wouldn't have shown up fast enough and Harry might've killed Sirius or something. THAT would have been great for the cause.

Just had to get in my defense-of-Remus rant. Anyway, pretty good fic. Well-written, decent characterization. Didn't quite get the ending, though. Is there going to be more?

THAT WUZ GREAT! i love it! i added it to my favorites. that wuz one of the best fanfics i've ever read without breaking my heart or laughing my @ off! hehe, write more. well not a continuis thing, but something else like this, it's great!

Wow, that was really good. I loved the flashbacks of Lupin's childhood. All the flashbacks were very well done. It was interesting to see them from Lupin's point of view. You've spun quite an emotional tale, and I commend you for it.
