I loved that last line, obviously, as i'm sure you meant me to. the "please just let me hold you" is nice, so gentle. this reminds me a bit of a passage from a favorite fic of mine by a writer named August. she writes about the terrible synchronicity of the fact that Mulder is trying to make Scully his sister in so many ways. You fic is a different take, a kinder take, but i just thought i'd say: great work. and thanks for the review. |
