Iva1201 2008-02-01 ch 1,	abuseThis is really strange, I admit - it has never occured to me to check if you have other fics published even after I started to so immensely enjoy "This Spiral Dance." Now I did and I can only tell that I loved this fic - I would have forgiven Rowling much, even that dreadful epilog, even killing Snape (had he a "good" death) but her making Lily, who was supposed to be the "best person," that - a person unable to forgive her best friend - well, in that moment the book was almost literally thown on the wall and now it always takes me hours to persuade myself to reopen it - eventhough, I am attempting to write a fic starting in the middle of it. Thank you for this as well - I loved the Patronus scene. (-:

wynnleaf 2007-09-28 ch 1,	abuseI had assumed, pre-DH, that the "mudblood" comment broke up a deep friendship, but I thought it must have been because Snape thought the comment unforgivable and therefore never asked Lily's forgiveness, leading her to believe that he was disavowing the friendship. I just couldn't believe Lily wouldn't have forgiven it if Snape had apologized. JKR's placement of events and what she said broke apart the friendship of Snape and Lily totally blew the picture of Lily that I had prior to DH. This story, which I love, is the way the Lily I had pictured (pre-DH) would have responded to Snape's apology. Of course, it does change the whole story, though, doesn't it? Well written story and quite enjoyable!

skeptic 2007-09-15 ch 1, anon.	abuseNice. I like Severus going to avenge his parents. Filial loyalty, that at the end someone should stand up for Eileen Prince. Can you write more? Also it never made sense that Lily should love James Potter after DH. She has five years of knowing that James is a relentless bully who picks on the vulnerable. Now if the Marauders had been having a honest, open war with Lily, Severus and some other characters; then eventually falling in love would make sense. A respected enemy/opponent could be a potential mate; a despicable bully never. It would be like falling for Dudley.
Code of the Star 2007-09-15 ch 1,	abuseOh my, this story is really beautifully done. Reading this story is such a relief. It's so sad how it turns out for Severus in the last book. I wish they could be together. I'm glad you're still writing more fic about Sev and Lily. I especially love the oneshot fic Knots that you wrote.
