Ron and... Shego... a couple?

I don´t see it, then again I don´t see Kim and Bonnie as a couple either so I guess it´s good ya are using pairing that aren´t well explored and all that.

Normally, the concept of this pairing grosses me out. But you were able to pull this off in a way I found amusing. Truely a testament to your writing abilities. BTW, is the sleep easy/sleazy motel thing a Simpsons reference, or is it from something else?

If you're looking for ideas for this universe, can I suggest that you do another story where Kim and Ron come home for the holidays and they tell each other what happened. Just a thought. Tell me what you think of it.

I'm sorry did I hear you right, did you just say that Kim was fraking Bonnie? That is something I'd never belive, but hey this is oviously AU so I don't much care. To help you decide which relationship to work next... Ron & Shego, no contest. To be blunt, reading about the main characters being in a homosexual relationship causes me physical pain (You can't make this stuff up!), and don't laugh, this little quark causes me to miss out on a lot of stories on this site. Also Rongo is my favorite pairing (You have RougesKnight to thank for that one). Well done on the story though, just make sure it's longer then a oneshot next time.

I loved the story and can't wait till you get a chance to get back to there story. It was written very well and keep up the good work.

Even before the monkey power episode ron could fight pretty decently every once in a while when he had to. That combined with the last new episode and what Ron finally did as himself, as well as of course Evil Ron showing what Ron should be able to do if he put his mind to it and tried I'm curious where you go with this. I always thought Ron depended to much on Kim and if he steped out of her shadow he'd really bloom.


Ron/Shego is always a good couple to read so i'm curious you're take on it in a series. I really look forward to what you write.

An interesting 'what if'. Boozing it up doesn't really sound like something Ron would do, but it was probably the only way the subsequent events would have happened.

I just need a scorecard to keep track of all the universes so I can keep 'em straight : ) Maybe you could publish an EXCEL spreadsheet...

A while ago I posted a rant about how a lot of Rongo stories tend to have little hints of misogyny, turning Shego into this demure, almost fragile character while Ron ascends to the heights of mystical monkey master. It aggravated me to no end because I felt it went against the misandristic tone of the whole series. In KP, girls rule and boys drool. That's the natural order of things.

So it was to my great pleasure that I discovered that your story does not stick to these conventions. Your stories never do, after all. ;) Ron is still his goofy, naive, buffoonish self while Shego retains her commanding yet fun-loving personality that enables her to take charge and give Ron the ride of his life.

Coming from a KiGo writer, this means a lot more than it would coming from someone like, say, MrDrP. It's even funnier considering that this takes place in your "Love Over Lying" universe, since you took a self-effacing shot at KiGo in that story as well. It's almost like you're trying to get it out of the way early on so you won't have to worry about it later.

Back to Ron and Shego. I couldn't help noticing that you went the classic bar route for hooking them up. I wonder why alcohol seems to be the first thing people think of when they want to pair these two. Still, I love the twist you gave it. Ron's not exactly depressed, but he's still out of it enough to do something he'd normally never do: respond to peer pressure.

Interesting observation Shego made when she mentioned that Ron tends to sabotage himself. It's completely true. It actually explains his behavior in Season 4 in a way that doesn't make him seem like the Antichrist we KiGoers sometimes make him out to be. That's what sets you apart from a lot of other KiGo writers: you actually seem to LIKE Ron. Very few people in our circle do.

When I saw that this story had a T rating, I was like, "Nah, he's not gonna make 'em have sex; there's no way he'd do that with that rating..." And then you did it anyway! Sure, you skipped most of the good stuff, but I never expected you to go that route. It was surprising to say the least.

I'm glad that you kept both Ron and Shego in-character for the morning after scene. Shego actually walked out, whereas in most Rongo stories she's just so overwhelmed by Ron's kindness that she turns into some swooning damsel in emotional distress. Here she's just her usual non-committal self. And Ron, in his neverending stream of bad luck, can't even remember what happened! Hilarious and very well-written.

I liked the "Superbad" reference at the beginning. You always find a way to sneak some element of pop culture into your stories that is both entertaining and hilarious. It's one of the reasons you're among my favorite authors.

All in all, great chapter and I can't wait for more. There's gonna be more, right? ;)
