Ooh. Ooh. I -like- this. I get the feeling that 'Bail' is actually Anakin Solo. Funny how Jaina and Jacen are going by their dad's onetime false last name. At least now we know where Luke and Mara are ('Ben Lars' my left... well, you know), and Han and Leia are kicking around -somewhere-. It just kills me to see Hal Horn and Booster Terrik bickering back and forth. And obviously Hal's told no one about his (partial) Jedi training, though he seems to have taught Jacen quite a bit. Does -Corran- even know? And does Booster know about him and Mirax?
On another note entirely, you might want to fix the 'beta bits' floating through Chapter 11.

As bad as I am about updating I certainly cannot fault you for the same. I highly enjoyed this part, Mara and Luke were good, though their "screen time" was small. Love Luke's alias, Ben Lars is the perfect name for him to be going by. I wonder how they ended up getting together and Mara ended up evolving in (possibly) the same way as in canon, but until you tell me I'll just chalk it up to Luke's farmboy charm. 3-PO was hiliarious as he truly always is, and Chewie...oh how have I missed him. Why he separated from Han for the last 20 or so years is a mystery to me, one you will reveal, I am sure. Jag's surprise about the identities of his next "mission" was fun, I liked how he was definitely excited about the idea that more time off Baruka could mean running into Jaina again. When he makes contact with Han and Leia will he recognize their similarities to Jaina, not just Leia's looks but also the attitudes and outlook on life that Jaina seems to have inherited as well from both her parents, though more Han in this case. The same goes for Jacen, especially since (in his pre-dark days) Jacen was always very much Leia's son in how he approached things and that does not seem to have changed. Either way, I was excited to get an update (can you tell?) and believe me, this update has definitely helped to fix an otherwise not-so-great day.

A whole chapter of Jag, just the thing to end a long day of history lectures with! While I really could have gone with a bit more description, and I'd really really love to know how the Fel family got to Baukra, I can live with what information I have. There was one small problem, Wynessa's name changed for a moment, Jag called her Syal, and while I would have taken this as a family nickname, he'd earlier shorted her name to Wyn, and Syal is their mother's name. Besides Wyn and Nessa are the only nicknames I can think of for her. Like I said it was a small thing. I enjoyed the scene at the war memorial, especially Jag's admiration of Luke. At this point Jag is about or close to the same age as Luke was then, that would be an interesting observation for him to make, especially as he sees Luke as the ultimate warrior/soldier and well, even in your AU Jag is a bit of an overachieving perfectionist, but that's the Jag we all know and love. I have a question on who preciesely he works for right now, as you stated he's not military at the moment, is he working for Intel? He has the crafty, sneaky brain for it, but with his talent for flying I can't think of why he wouldn't be military. Oh well, more questions for you to answer. Please update soon!

sorry it took me so long to get to this, but it was wonderful. Jag and Lando were hiliarious together. I especially like how Lando hasnt evolved into the man he became in the regular EU, at least not yet. Booster and Hal arguing about the role of Jedi was good, question, does Corran know about his Jedi hertiage? I'm thinking that even if he does then Mirax or at least Booster don't know, since Booster didn't seem to understand why Hal would support the idea of Jedi. the only complaint I have is that I would like more Jag, more of his thoughts, and more of his backstory, especially for how he got to Baukra, if he was raised among the Chiss and what happened not only to his parents, but to his previously dead siblings, Chak, Davin, and Cherith.

so very happy that this story is back. i enjoyed this part as much as the other Jaina 1st pov segment, these interludes seem to work. perhaps there could be similar parts for Jag? so that we can get to know him in this au, since while he is similar and in character, must have had different expereinces that have shaped him. oh course i adore non-jedi pilots to a high degree, and want to see more of him and of Wedge, Tycho, Hobbie, Wes, and the rest of the Rogues.

oh i enjoyed this chapter, it brightened up a bad day like nothing else has. Mother Rell had me laughing out loud and remembering why i liked her so much in COPL. Jaina's grieving process was realistic and interesting, it fits her nicely. can't wait for the next chapter and hopefully some more Jag.

Excellent Chapter. Just out of curiosity, I can't seem to figure out what Kev looks like. Am I just missing it? Anyway. I'm looking forward to how this all works out... :D

so this is how Kev dies...was expecting it, but it was nice that he did have a chance to tell Jaina that he loved her before he died, always nice to see that. Jaina's unconcious use of the Force was interesting to see, does Tenal Ka know what Jaina did? like how In courtship Tenenial (sp?) knew that Luke was using the same "magic" she was just without speaking? even in anger Jaina's motivations are good ones, which fits with her character, espeically her canon dark trip motivations.

i'm looking forward to seeing how they get out of of this, and in the resupmtion of the 'present time.' definately looking forward to getting back to Jag and the rebels.

Once again, pure enjoyment. Though you did accidentally leave in a few comments from your beta near the beginning of the chapter. It also ended a bit abruptly, not sure if that was planned or not though. Still, the fight scenes were good, those are tough to do, a bit more description of what Jaina, Kev, or Tenal Ka were doing doing the fights would have been fun. It would also be nice to hear what Tenal Ka thinks of Jaina, Kev, their relationship...especially since she's eventually taking Kev's place as first mate it would be nice to know what her thoughts on all this are. But that's just me. Once again though, a stellar chapter. Update please?
