This is truly a one-shot, as noble Prince Nir will not stop until he finds the love of his life -- Lady Amalthea, the human-unicorn hybrid. I'm sorry to say I watched bits and pieces of the animated feature, but I understand that it was made in the '80s. The 20th anniversary DVD was released last year. The only catch is the "d" word is censored out. That leads me to believe the movie should've gained a PG rating instead of a G rating due to its dark tone. I feel compelled to own that DVD nonetheless. I will respect your devotion to the film...always. |

Anywho, I love how you wrote your own little POV for Prince Lir. It's beautiful, and well written. The story itself is full of emotion, and I really like how you added major as well as minor points from the movie. It strengthened the story and gave it more emotional value. Beautifully done, I cannot think of another way I would want the story to end. |
