There are alot of people out there who don't get Demyx. One too many times I've seen him portrayed as either too hyper-crazy to the point where he becomes annoying, or too emo-y depressed about his life to the point where he's not Demyx anymore (and I hate to admit I belonged to that second group).

Because, in truth, Demyx is like what he is in this story. He is sometimes a philosopher, he thinks and comes up with his own ideas, ones that the other Organization members will never understand or appreciate. And, sometimes, he's just the voice of too much reason, for beings that don't exist. He's too innocent, too naive for his own good, but that's what makes him so loveable. That's the Demyx you wrote here; he's not obsessing over his death, not frantically worrying or counting down the days, he just can face the fact that it will happen, and figures he prefers one death over the others.

And the only way appropriate from Demyx to go is in water. Just saying.

You've given Demyx the depth and life he deserves in fanfiction, you give him his own personality and a deeper, darker and ultimatly more human way about him. It's impeccable and just so fitting for him.

I love the style of the piece, also. It's a perfect blending of the whimsical and the angst, which doesn't drown the piece in UTTER EMO-thank you, thank you!-but actually adds to piece; it's like a five-ton weight weighing your chest down and, yeah. It's really well done angst and that's enough really to say about that-you make it original and in character.

This is lovely. Your Demyx is so, so haunting and the atmosphere, the scene are wonderfully drown out with your style. A lovely, insightful, well-done Demyx piece.
