I like this fic a lot! I'm really interested in finding out what actually went down at the bar, haha. I really appreciate that you juggle the humor with the serious parts so smoothly, it makes it a good read. Anyway I'm guessing it also goes that I'm hoping you get around to updating this fic soon.

Well, the story line is interesting but there are a couple of little grammar issues that pop up every once in a while. Watch your verb tenses mostly - there were a couple of awkward verb form changes (one sentence someone is doing something, and the next they were doing something when they should have been in one tense both times.)

Other then that, I'm glad to see the canon storyline cropping up and hoping you're planning to ignore Diamond Dust Rebellion which I found to be a sad travesty after all of the hype over it. Also, writing without a ship is painfully refreshing. Thank you for that.

You're writing is so beautiful. It's hard not to imagine that as Hitsugaya's actual past. It would definitely explain his grumpiness and stocialness. Is that a word? Oh well.

I was wondering how your were going to incorporate his granny and Hinamori into this and you did it wonderfully. By the way, I adore his granny! Your characterization of her is great and hilarious. I guess she would have to be tough to deal with Hitsugaya as a child.

The whole forzen sake thing is a brilliant idea. Poor Matsumoto!

I'm surprised you haven't got more reviews for this. I love the Histugaya/Matsumoto friendship. They're my favorite captain/ vice-captain pair and you captured them so beautifully! The way you describe Hitsugaya's reiatu and the fact that he is still a child (even if he usually doesn't act like it) is wonderful! Thank you for the wonderful read. I did like the interactions between the three of them; I think they would relax more and not act so somber when it wasn't official businss.

I feel so bad for Hitsugaya T.T I'm betting Matsumotou said something about that past life of his...or something that has to tie in with it.

This chapter was very interesting.
I enjoyed reading the conversation between Matsamouto and Ukitake, loved ukitakes input to it.Lovely insight into Toshiros mind, if you ask me.
And we get to see more of Toshiros past, too.There's a definite likeness to this as there is to Toshiros past shown in the manga chapter.It's good,I like it.:)
