This was great! I really LOL'ed a lot and the technobabble was just fine. I've seen "Wife Swap" although I don't really care for it--but you did a great job at doing the voice-overs and scenes just like they do it on the show. Unfortunately there are people like the adult Smiths in RL; you weren't really over the top there. I'm glad that Rose and the Doctor & the kids were able to change things somewhat for the better! :)
I loved the deleted scenes as well. LOL the Doctor babysitting Myfanwy! I hope you do more of these crossovers--not just "fannish" shows but reality shows or shows with more mundane settings-The Doctor and Rose invade Mainstream TV!! LOL that would be so cool! Anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled for more of your writing. :)

yeah, technobabble is hard. Whenever I'm forced to do it, all the charachter says is "Prime-" or "Auxillary-" before I have someone else inturrupt them.

I've really enjoyed this story. Maybe I'll do some sort of Doctor Who/reality show cross myself.

Lovely ending. I like happy endings, and I'm glad that everything worked out for everyone involved. And I'm also glad I was able to give you the idea of putting in the deleted scenes! The pterodactyl scene was funny as were all the other deleted scenes. And as for the technobabble, its ok, thats why I try to avoid it as much as can be helped.

You just need more practise is all. You're doing quite well.
